Catalog Course Description
A continuation of body structure and function for the vocational nurse with clinical case studies. 27 lecture hours.
Course Objectives
- Demonstrate knowledge of theoretical concepts of body structure and function in the clinical area with clients.
- Compare and contrast each body system assigned and relate how each is integrated to function as a whole.
- Identify normal and abnormal functioning of given organ systems.
- Identify and describe the disorders of each body system.
- Identify the organ system changes on the human body as the aging process occurs.
