Catalog Course Description
Participation in the production of a full length play for public performance. Productions will be entered into the American College Theatre Festival for adjudication and competition. This course may be taken four times. 18 lecture hours, 108 lab hours.
Course Objectives
- Apply techniques learned in the rehearsal and performance process of a given play in order to enhance skills in further theatrical settings.
- Demonstrate improvement in skills learned through the rehearsal process and purposeful collaboration and apply to performance.
- Demonstrate competitive skills through the American College Theatre Festival.
