Nursing 102 educates the Certified Nurse Assistants to become certified home health aides. Students learn the necessary theory and skills needed to provide basic nursing care to residents in home settings. Students also learn about nutritional needs, family issues, cleaning and care tasks in the home, organization, and time management. Upon successful completion of the course, the student becomes eligible for certification as a Home Health Aide by the State of California.
