Certificate in Construction Health and Safety Specialist

Construction safety is a growing profession. This certificate of achievement is an ideal option for construction industry supervisors who are charged with the responsibility to maintain safe worksite conditions in order to be better prepared to effectively address the on-the-job safety of their subordinate staff.  Completion of this certificate prepares working superintendents, supervisors, forepersons, crew leaders and other working students to sit for the nationally and regionally recognized Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) credential examination by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

  2. Develop a site-specific Injury, Illness and Prevention plan.
  3. Analyze effective approaches to mitigating and managing construction safety hazards.
