Catalog Course Description
A continuation and further expansion upon the reading and performance
concepts of music covered in Sight Reading for the Studio I. Public performance
is required. 54 lecture hours.
Course Objectives
- Demonstrate analytical, stylistic and musical notation competency in the sight reading of selected literature.
- Demonstrate performance control during the performance of selected literature.
- Quantify a performer's musical experience in objective terms both as an observer and participant.
