Catalog Course Description

Live dance concert production. Students will function as dance members in a fully produced dance production. The course is also open to all qualified students who wish to participate in production. 36 lecture hours, 72 lab hours.

  • define characterization of the dance role

Examples of Required Writing Assignments

Students will keep a dance journal that includes research of choreographic styles, research and history; journals will include choreographic "maps" that detail musical structure and time signatures.
