Catalog Course Description
A beginning level workshop class in applied music including analysis of technique deficiencies needed for career development by a private instructor. This course may be taken four times. 9 hours lecture, 18 lab hours arranged.
Course Objectives
- demonstrate refinement of elements of good musicianship including accuracy of notes, rhythm, pitch, breathing, etc. as appropriate to student's performance
- demonstrate performance skill improvement as it relates to specific technique problems to enhance career development
