Catalog Course Description
This course is a continuation of the skills learned in MUSE 222 at the advanced level and emphasizes further development of those skills. 36 lecture hours.
Course Objectives
- Execute exercises that facilitate piano performance at a more advanced level.
- Demonstrate proper fingering and pedal technique in the performance of selected piano literature.
- Perform medium to advanced piano literature.
- Incorporate ornaments from the major periods of Western music into interpretation of piano literature
