Catalog Course Description

Development of intermediate Italian conversational skill. Emphasis on collaborative activities and practical use of the language. Extensive exposure to Italian culture. Grammar is presented in context. 54 lecture hours.

Course Objectives

  • Communicate orally in grammatically correct Italian.
  • Used assigned idiomatic expressions in conversational situations.
  • Expand vocabulary to further express ideas in Italian.
  • Formulate questions and answers to specific topics.
  • Respond orally to written material film.
  • Justify in Italian position on current events and cultural topics.
  • Prepare and generate discussions on specific topics.
