Catalog Course Description
This course covers technology applications commonly utilized in today's construction industry, including applications that are used in construction management processes. 36 lecture hours.
Course Objectives
- Through assigned homework and lab work assignments, demonstrate appropriate utilization of computer technology and relevant software applications.
- Identification of current computer trends in construction industry technology.
- Through group projects and presentations, demonstrate appropriate use of technology-based tools and templates for a specific construction management process, including but not limited to planning, design, estimating, scheduling, cost control and/or construction documentation, as approved by instructor.
