Catalog Course Description

Automotive technology work experience is designed to extend occupational learning through employment and coordinate the on-the-job training with program instruction. Individual student goals and learning objectives will be designed by the student cooperatively with the employer and faculty advisor. Lab hours are arranged and completed at the place of employment. Pass/No Pass grading only. 9 lecture hours, 640 lab hours arranged.

Course Objectives

  • In cooperation with the employer and faculty adviser, the student will develop and carry out individual learning objectives consistent with program goals and worksite opportunities
  • Analyze workplace scenarios and evaluate how each effect customer service and the employee to employer relationship
