Certificate of Competency Level Student Learning Outcomes
Students completing the Entry Level Healthcare Skills Certificate of Competency will:
- Understand and illustrate the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) as it applies to Healthcare Providers.
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate the Electronic Health Record (EHR) both to locate and document patient information.
- Utilize appropriate prevention strategies in order to protect the community from potential Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) exposure.
