Special rehearsal and public performance above and beyond normal class expectations- intermediate level. 18 lecture hours, 54 lab hours.
Course Objectives
- apply intermediate level popular dance combinations such as hip-hop as they pertain to the presentation of choreography
- dance as a member of an ensemble and provide leadership to fellow students
- evaluate intermediate level popular choreography styles as it relates to music
- competently perform intermediate level popular dance-choreography such as hip-hop before the public

- Interpretation- Variance in Stylistic Interpretation through Character Dance

- Ensemble blending and integration of character through dance
